During the review of HP Pavilion tx1250 I made critical comments to the touch-screen display of the test laptop, which was pretty mediocre sensitivity. On the other hand, HP Media handsome is relatively cheaper and more image-making machine with no claims for professional applications. But today we face a real Tablet laptop with a fantastic resolution and magneto-Electrical outlet down on the screen, and not expensive touch-screen coverage. This expensive laptop, professional, long ago in our point of view “test laboratory”, but due to software “adventures”, putting it into a functioning species will be postponed for nearly two weeks. Prior will say that not too long ago I was so fascinated by computers. Visitors to our show room are also very pleasantly surprised by this amazing machine. Design and housing. Design of the Toshiba Portege M400 is a classic and very reminiscent of that business-series Tecra – classic proportions, no shiny material, excessive thinning, leading to poor cooling. This is a working machine – working for designers, artists, engineers and architects. Workstation for rich design studios, where the cost of machinery is irrelevant. Hinge of the display has a slight clearance (compared to HP Pavilion tx1250), but this is easily corrected with a screwdriver – just these machines are used, although very reserved. Very pleasant impression made solid rubber demferi protecting the display from contact with the keyboard. Hardware. Toshiba Portege M400 is equipped with a powerful and economical processor Intel Core Duo T2400 1.83GHz 2MB cache. The platform is extremely stable and verifiable Mobile Intel Calistoga GM i945GM. Model is very compact (12-inch), but is equipped with a DVDRW drive. There is WiFi, BlueTooth, CardReader … and other modern facilities, which is too long to describe. Interesting and very useful function, especially in business model is fingerprint scanner. On the security of a hard disk, Toshiba engineers have borrowed with the acceleration sensor of IBM Thinkpad, which makes the machine much more secure in fall, shock or impact. Small Tablet has 3 USB ports, 1 Cardbus, S400 plug. Display. Once again, our “test lab” visit a fantastic display. 12 inches with resolution 1400 * 1200! Excellent for TN + Film viewing angles, solid contrast and brightness. Display technology is based not on physical contact and the electro-magnetic interaction, leading to extremely accurate positioning and swift reaction. Electro-magnetic pen has a button (click – just like a mouse), also on the reverse side has a button on the friction of the writing. We had great fun even minutes and hours drawing and writing – I really feel is more like fiction than rather than real engineering. The text is inserted very easily, but the big surprise is that the pen responds to pressure and released the text in bold pressure in extremely thin and light touch. Tablet laptop would be delighted every artist or designer and can save much money and digirayzeri Desk calendars.

The body is mainly made of metal, which, after hundreds of plastic models made me extremely impressed. Alone know how I am impressed by the articles in front of the composite hull IBM Thinkpad. Everything here is mostly metallic, very high quality and stylishly constructed. This is undoubtedly the most beautiful seen from my laptop. Interesting patterns from a new HP Pavilion series are available on the metallic housing. Hinge of the rotating touch-screen display is also very solid metal – there is no slack. Light is underway between the two parts – a display and lower body in the closed position due to the diligence of the engineers to make universal bilateral fastening. HP Pavilion tx1250 is the lightest of laptops, but this is due to the heavy and reliable material from which it was prepared. Dimensions themselves are very compact. Hardware. “The heart of the tx1250 is Mobile DualCore AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-56 1.8Ghz processor. Processor that powered the large 17-inch Pavilion dv9000 and I think it is unnecessary for a powerful mini-laptop. Video system is based on the NVidia GeForce Go 6150 64MB (288MB Turbo Cache). Video card is doing quite well with their tasks – from more modest games to decode the HD format (which decoding is done mainly by a powerful processor as cards with hardware support for HD are 8th series of NVidia up). The platform is based on the highly successful and reliable NForce 430. Stability of the platform very close to that of the Centrino Duo machine, so as big manufacturers like HP is such a trusted system. Display. 12-inch laptop screen is active – the touch screen. Certainly not as responsive and precise as a Tablet PC with a magnetic display, but is extremely easy to use, it can be activated with finger, not only with a stylish pen set. Recognition of the excellent text by Windows Vista and requires no additional software and settings. However, it is desirable to calibrate the driver area of contact, as usually the default settings by running the actual place of contact. A little irritating is that the calibration is valid only for one orientation of the display – desktop can rotate with the button on the display so as to transpose the settings of the calibration zone. Touchscreen cover decreased significantly the contrast of the display, but the picture is as excellent color reproduction and a real difference become evident only in direct comparison with the classic display. Multimedia – sound, camera, microphone. Audio system of the HP Pavilion TX1250 is exceptional quality. On one side are powerful and high quality stereo speakers from Altec Lansing with a pure and powerful sound on the other hand are unmatched by Intel-based platforms qualities NForce Audio. The camera of 1.3MPx is good only at day light and in no way differs from the cameras of larger Pavilion laptops. Two microphone near the camera and provide a stereo effect the listener. For me it is a little annoying, but other users will probably set them Did multimedia buttons on the body of the laptop. Media focus on stylish mini-notebook is complemented by a nice remote control.
